Divi Quick Start Guide

Using the Divi Builder

Your Sites at Northeastern site comes with Divi, a visual page builder that works within WordPress to allow users to build sites without the use of code.

This visual page builder helps users easily build websites without need for coding, or ‘backend development’. Divi gives users the opportunity to build and customize websites ‘on the frontend,’ by using modular drag and drop interfaces where you can easily modify page content.

Sites at Northeastern is powered by WordPress, in partnership with CampusPress, a leading managed hosting provider of WordPress networks for educational institutions. WordPress is a multifunctional website building platform that helps all types of users create both customized and templated websites to share content through.

Once a page is created on a website through WordPress, a button will appear at the top of the screen that reads Build on the Front End with Divi. By clicking this button, the Divi Builder will be opened. To get started, explore the following sections that further describe the basic features offered in the Divi builder.
